AutoXRay 5000 scan tool... Any good?
I'm considering buying one of these off ebay and want feedback from anyone with one.
I need obd1 and obd2 support. I also have a laptop, and would lilke something I can hook up directly to the laptop while driving and record data to, instead of being limited to 29 frames or whatever.
I don't plan on using it much, or even keeping it, I can always resell it on ebay, so cost isn't really an issue, unless it'll go down in value significantly.
Will this scan tool do the trick?

Hey Kevin, Have you looked into winaldl to use with your laptop. Its free.

I have a laptop, but nothing to hook up to it!
I'll trade you my laptop for your winaldl. :jester Where do I buy the plug? And does it cover obd2 also?
