Default Testing the waters....

What would the going rate be for my set of 190 AFR heads with the 100% CNC on intake and exhaust, AFR valve upgrade, drilled and tapped sensor holes, milled to 56cc, springs good to over .700 lift, and basically in perfect shape? Ready to bolt on and have fun.

Here is a picture of them:

Would anyone be interested in them? AFR is now backlogged fro quite a while.

Either post your interest or email me. I am just testing the waters for an idea. Thanks.

PS: Don't ask I'm not telling :D

$1850 for a used set of cylinder heads? I dont think so.

AFR 190's are the cream of the crop, but not $1850 for a used set of heads.

You're not kidding about this. It took the better part of 6 weeks to get my AFR 195s to MORE for the 396. They just arrived yesterday in Charlotte. FINALLY... Good luck with the sale.

Glenn, I assure you they will blow anything out of the water you try to compare them to:

Be sure to not just compare max list values. I like to like them up side by size and take the difference between CFM at each value for valve lift of the head you are comparing it to. A very good assumption is for every 1 CFM its ~2HP gained. So a head that can flow 20CFM more, will give you ~40HP increase.

On a 383, these heads will perform every bit as good as on my 406. So you can imagine the power you will make and that 219 cam will work awesome with the intake and these heads.

I am leaving today at noon for a week long fishing trip. Feel free to shoot me an email at ski_dwn_it@yahoo.com I will return your message as soon as I return.

Talk to you all later!
