Default LT4 X-pipe

Anyone have a picture of a factory LT4 X-Pipe. I ws going to add one to my LT1 and was just wondering what the factory one looked like and exactly where it was located.

thanks

No photos, but the LT-4 actually had a factory H-pipe and it is behind the resonator right before the tubing bends outward to the mufflers.

I am also pretty sure the LT-1 has 2.5" tubing and the LT-4 has 2.75". . . . but, I could be wrong.

My LT1 had 2.75" tubing but no H pipe.

The H-pipe is located 15" in back of the resonator.

I have emailed you a photo.

The LT4 exhaust is 2.75".

Jstkrsn...I noticed in your signature that you have a 52mm TB. I have read that this TB only helps when you have head and exhaust work done. What is your take on it? Did it give you any extra power over the factory 48? I have been thinking about putting one on my 93. I have almost the same mods as you have (except for the shorties and the 3.07 gears. I still have my factory 2.59 gears and factory headers). Thanks in advance.

I believe it did. I didn't dyno before and after, but I could feel the difference. I bought mine used, so it was only a couple hundred bucks. It was well worth it. It helped it rev 5000-5600 RPM faster. With the 1.6RR and shorties it really rev's fast between 5000 and 5800 RPM. ( I changed the springs in the governor).
