Default Front suspension interchangable components. 86 - 90

Hi, I have an '86 Coupe that is all to low in the front. The wheels is making contatct with the
hood. I read somewhere (here) that it could be a problem with the rubber coushons that holds the
front spring. I started to take the front end apart to check this, when I discovered that the lower
control arm (connected to the wheel hub) did not look at all as it was supposed to according to the
manual for my car. I new that the car has been crashed, and there is a lot of plastics in the front
that dont fit and came from a '90. So I suspect that the lower control arms is from a 90 aswell.

So, assuming that the lower control arm is from a '90, can this work???
and, what more do I need to change??
I think that because the shockabsorbers are now seated lower in the control is the main reason
why the car is so low. what is it that differs ? are the shocks longer or is the upper shock mount
located lower on the chassie???

86 and 90 suspensions are not interchangeable. Only 84-87 and 88-96.
