Default EFI Conversion Pics

Here's pictures of my EFI converted single plane intake. Im no longer using this style of throttle body because it wont clear the hood with an air cleaner on my C4. So Im gonna build a plenum box and use a TPI style throttle body. Like Meaney's vette (see: Twin Turbo C4/inspiration).

On what? What's the manifold? How much of a height problem did you have with the aircleaner on? Are we talking 3mm or 3 inches?

This is one of the conversions on my list of options to replace my '84's CFI. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It's for my 89. The entire intake plus throttle body is about 7.5" tall and on a C4 you only have 9" before you run outta room. I was thinking of building an air box and putting the air filters in front of the rad but it's too restrictive as j-burnett mention and posted pictures of on a previous and similiar topic. I traded the throttle body for a 1000cfm tpi style unit and I'll build a plenum box. The intake is a Holley Strip Dominator.

If you go onto http://www.TwinTurboC4.com under inspiration thats what my new setup would look like.

9.2" to be exact... It's a PITA to do but it's worth it. Mine should be complete in the next week or so for Jesse and Cork to test...
