I have Random tech cats and Corsa cat back exhaust in my automatic. From what I've read, I'm limited to shorties. Is this true? If so, does anyone out there have a similar set-up (cat, and shotries) and which headers are best?
I see the hooker in the corvette mall here has the SLP Stainless steel headers and state gains up to 15HP. I'm not sure but I think that maybe unrealistic for my setup and would require long tubes for that increase. comments welcome. Thanks! :grouphug:
Updating the post here. I just looked at the TPIS site and they have long tube headers that fit a cat converter. I'm still not sure if it would fit though.
I believe the consensus is that, with an auto LT1, its almost impossible to fit longtubes to the cat without welding, and even then you must use bullit (smaller) cats.

This is what I've gathered as well after reading on this subject. At any rate, if you go the header route, get the longtubes, shorty's won't do much for performance.
