I am in search of a pad that is low dust, suitable for street and auto-x, and rotor friendly. I have talked to a few people that are running the EBC Greenstuff and they are not light dusting.
A while back a friend mentioned Porterfield, and I had forgotten about them until I started my search. Has anyone ever used their pads, and if so what is your impression.
Re: Porterfield Brake pads - Anyone use them? (Duntov)
I've heard it's a pretty good race pad. Do a search in the Autocross and Road Racing section on "Porterfield". I have the Greenstuff pads on my 87 autocross car and the do dust but nowhere near as much as the Hawk pads.
Raybestos has a good pad as does NAPA for street use and wil work for low-speed A-X events. Performance Friction Z pads are also very good.
If somebody would ever come out with a cheap :yesnod: high performance pad that had ZERO dust, it would make them an instant millionaire as I bet everyone here on the Forum would buy in a heartbeat!! :D
