Performance parts advice needed! (winter project)
I am planning to do some serious performance tuning during winter and need some advice if i'm going to the right direction (I dont want to use parts that doesn't match!). Here's what I have done for now:
-Tune-up
-K&N with cut air lid
-Frisbee delete
-Throttle body bypass
-Throttle body airfoil
-180 degree thermostat
-Pre-cats removed and new Carsound main cat
-Magnaflow cat-back
Here's what I'm planning to do during winter (in this order):
-Cut back spark plugs
-Injector cleaning
-Gut the Airpump
-MAT sensor relocation
-Port the Plenum
-TPIS large tube runners (port the Plenum to match the runners)
-1.6 Roller Rocker kit (also new springs)
-New Cam?!
-Forced Air induction kit (the one that scoops the air from licence plate hole)
Now here's the big question: what kind of cam should I get to go with this set-up?? Many have recommended that GM made ZZ3 camshaft is way to go. Do you agree or have some other suggestions?
Would this set-up get me to 300hp (rear wheel) league? I know that the biggest bottlenecks in this setup will be the stock Intake manifold and exhaust manifolds but I'll just have to live with it ;) Anyway it will be fast enough for me :D

When you get the injectors cleaned, do it when you're about done with your project. I cleaned mine 5 months before I was finished and 4 of the injectors were stuck from the oil hardening in the injector. I'm not sure if everyone who cleans the injectors does it the same as Cruzin Performance but that's where mine were done. I am very pleased with the results. That oil hardening issue was on me, for waiting too long.
I don't see a chip in that list. I have a custom chip for mine, I'm not sure if you'll need one though.
