Default instrument cluster
I just purchased an 84 with a instrument cluster that lights up but the speedometer and tach are blank. The back lights are there but no readings on either one. ANY IDEAS??

it needs to come out... and be fixed... others will chime in... but there is a problem, for sure.

just don't break the glass!!!!!!!!!

Your best bet is to pull the Module and have it repaired by a professional. I tried to fix mine but ended up sending it off anyway. Removal is easy and the info is available on the internet. good luck!
