88 Vette with nitrous questions?
I have a friend with a stock 88 auto vette with 30,000 original miles. He wants to put nitrous on it for a little extra power. Any thoughts or opinions? What kind of shot, what kind of gains, neccessary upgrades, any times? Any help would be awesome. Thanks, Clay

You can run a 100 shot on pump gas and not have to pull timing out. A 150 shot would be about the most for a stock motor, but you would need better gas, and take out timing. A 100 shot would be the simplist, easiest way to go. You would be totally safe with a 100 shot.

I also run a 150 shot without pulling out timing. You just have to be real careful not to get into predetonation. I was just meaning it is recommended to take out timing at a 150 shot.
