Default new fuel injector problem

About a week ago I thought I had leaking injectors on the passenger side. I bought new fms 24# injectors from jegs for 219.00 Today I put them on and the passenger side is still acting up. when i turn on the key the 4 injectors are
still wide open any suggestions. last week it was so bad i had raw fuel coming out the tail pipe. I cant start it up now cause the plenum and runners are out getting powered coated. I could really use some advise. Thanks alot
Im really

What year is your car? If its a L98 car chances are the wiring is shorted to ground or the PCM injector driver has shorted out. There are two drivers that fire each bank of four injectors. One way to check this is to disconnect the injectors on the side that is "leaking" and with a test light connected to Battery Positive probe the light blue or light green colored wire.

This is the wire from the ECM that fires the injectors. Your test light should not light up. Do this test with the ignition on. The other wire in the injector connector should be pink or pink black that is the 12v supply that powers the injector. The ECM toggles the ground side of the injector to fire it.

If your test light does light up, then that indicates either the wire is shorted to ground or that the ECM is shorted internally. At this point disconnect the ECM from the harness and check the circuit again with the ignition on. If it still lights up then its a wiring problem and there is a short to ground somewhere. If it does not light up then the problem is in the ECM.

Yes Its an L98. I checked the injector wires with a volt meter. with the key on the inector wire is on. so now ill just follow the rest of your trouble shoting.
the wires are in bad shape im guessing thats more than likely the problem. thanks for your post.

yes it is the ecm i unpluged the wires from the injectors at the ecm and checked with a light it did not light up. well i guess thats good new. the other good news is because of this i got new injectors and a apfr. my plenum runners and v-covers powder coated. Now i get to get a new ecm. dam i hope this just about covers it. I should have it on the road next week some time if i can rember where all the bolts go.
