Power Steering Pump?
When I turn it's starting to whine / vibrate sometimes not all the time. P.S. pump has only about 65K on it...No leaks Yet. What you think? Anyone know what a bad PS pump sounds like?

I had a bad pressure hose and pump on my 93 around 70,000 miles. Don't remember much whining/vibration. I couldn't keep fluid in and then it would start whining. I had a gallon jug of PS fluid in the back of my car for a week while the shop got in the PS pump and pressure hose.

I just changed mine last week. I switched to synthetic fluid and it must have trashed the seals because it started leaking real bad, and the hoses too. So I changed everything out.

Mine made a weird whining sound when low on fluid, found out that supposedly the pump went out, so I had that replaced about two weeks ago, and I had to have a high pressure hose replaced also cause it was leaking there. Also, not but two weeks later, I just took my car back to the same dealership and am having to get that same hose replaced due to leaking, hopefully for the last time. Hope this helps

Learned something....the biggest cause of Power Steering Pump failure is Hose deterioration ...I found a Filter at Advance Auto that goes in the return Line....P/N: 20FLT1 for $2.99....Might not hurt to add one Guys.
