I couldn't believe

I was watching the drags yesterday on ESPN. I haven't really followed drag racing since I was a teenager and they were trying hard to break into the high 6s.

I was totally blown away at the funny cars and top fuelers turning under 4.5 quatrers at better than 300 mph.

Where the hell have I been?

What do you expect from a car with well over 5000 hp. Some say closer to 7000hp.

Best part was Shirley Muldowney going 3 rounds. Got beat by K.B. she ran a 4.61, not bad for a senior citizen.

No, I haven't. What kind of times ARE they turning? And are you talking about the strip prepped ones that never see the street or street versions that I now will have to worry about being embarrassed by?
