hood fitting problems

Hello, I just put a 383 in my 85 vet and I put a holly intake on it and the hood doesn't close. Does anyone know where I can get a cowl induction style hood in fiberglass or carbon fiber (I would rather have a carbon fiber one).

corkevette has a cowl hood on his car. If he doesn't respond soon do a search for him. He's always helpful

I was also wondering if anyone makes a light weight hood. I don't know if anyone here has taken there hood off but it is VERY heavy.

i got mine from vanacors corvette it was like $1000 even i got it from them at corvettes at carlisle if you get it from a show they attend its about 200-300 dollars cheaper
