Re: Diacom questions (Bruce)
Bruce,
The Ease GM OBD1 Personal scan tool is $315 ordered from Ease, but if you or any other CF member orders through me I'll get you a rebate of 10% or $31.50.
The new Ease Personal OBD1 version 2 will scan 30 VINs before needing a license upgrade. That is 30 separate vehicles. Multiple scans of the same vehicle all count as 1 VIN. Loading and playing back a scan from someone else does not count as a VIN scan. Only unique VINs actually connected to by the tool count in the 30 VIN limit.
Mike_88Z51,
I'll be contacting you next week or so about ordering it from you. My 93 has the OBD-1, but has the OBD-2 connector (16 pin connector). The price on the Ease website for this one is $350.00. 10% off would be $315.00 plus shipping. What would the shipping be to zip 33437? Also, do you charge S/T for orders going to Florida? Thanks!!
:bb Scorp, you are right. I did the old press my hand against the port test and it looked like the OBD2 connector. Just went down and looked under the dash: OBD1 connector. Glad I haven't ordered it yet.
