Prom Burning???
I have an 88 Corvette. Am I understanding correctly that I can buy the software and hardware to erase and reburn the prom, (if that is the right terminology), for my vehicle as long as I am knowlegeable enough to do it?

Correct. I would highly recommend hanging out at the DIY PROM board over at 3rd gen. They seriously know their stuff there!

Guess I'v been a so called mechanic for 26 years now - doesn't mean I know what I am doing, lol. No, seriously, I feel pretty comfortable and want to give it a shot, but I'm not sure what post you were refering to that I should read???
