Default 90 dash/console removal instructions or hints?

hey...got a 90 here, and the previous owner decided that it would be a good idea to put a comb and some other junk on the folding cup holder cover. anyway, i want to put a new stereo in at some point too, as my bose system is shot. does anyone know where there are some good instructions or hints on how to remove the dash and console? i started to mess with it a little, but i'm a little apprehensive about tearing apart the interior of the car. thanks for any help!

Please, if you are going to work on your Vette on a lot of projects, buy a Helms Service Manual for your year. It has pictures as well as a good checklist of what has to be done. The best advice on this is HAVE PATIENCE Don't do anything in a hurry and remember where each screw came out; label them if you have to. When working with the plastic, don't force anything. If you want to fix the Bose, try http://www.doctordons.com They are the pros on the Bose (good ad saying, I wonder if he'll buy it)
