pulley questions...

a) larget crank and small accessory pulleys = faster spinning accessories and more power loss?
b) small crank and larger accessory pulleys = slower spinning accessories and more power gain?
c) small crank and small accessory pulleys = somewhere between a&b?
Reason Im asking is because Im installing an under drive pulley set and I was thinking about not installing the altenator pulley. The pulley for the alternator from the kit is 1/2" larger in diameter than the one currently on the alternator. I dont want to lose even more from the charging system than I already will be with the smaller crank pulley. Am I thinking clearly?

Got it installed. Used the old alt pulley (smaller) and the Mr. Gasket crank pulley (smaller).
With the headlights, driving lights, AC, radio, turn signal on, and the car in drive idling, the charging system light comes on and the volts drop to 11.5.
So I need to hope Im never caught in a foggy down pour in 100* heat at night with my favorite CD in the changer.
The battery is on the trickle charger as we speak to take some of the burden off the alt when I do drive it.
