I reacently order this from Ecklers : Electronic ratio adapter
When I reaceaved it and read the instructions how to set it I didn`t had a clue what to do !!! Now I need someone the help me set this adapter so my speedo meter can read correctly after I switched from 2:59 to 3:54 !!!
Even I want to ask , how many mph the speedo meter is off by switching from 2:59 to 3:54 !!! if some one is very kind he can tell me the settings as well
This is what you do... find a stretch of road with measured miles... then, get to speed until you hit a mile that takes 1 minute!!! hence you are doing 60mph....
read your speedo, and find out what it says... do the math, and you are done.
Have a buddy drive on the freeway in a different car at 60mph. Follow him in the vette and see what your speedo says it is. Calculate the difference using the formula from the website and you should be fine.
Just FYI, dunno i fthis'll help or not. 3.45's get 30MPH per 1000rpm in OD.
60MPH is exactly 2000rpms for me, so with 3.54's it should be like 2050rpms..
