Burned out cluster lights???

...WTF???...
I gets a car with LEDs, and they use bulbs to illuminate the LEDs???
Today riding around, my Oil Pressure LED is real dim, and the Instant Mileage readout LED, too (and the high end of the Speedo as well)...
I thought the intent of the Light Emitting Diode was to *eliminate* bulbs... :cuss

I can hardly wait to get on my back with my dentists mirrors and try to find the bulb...Maybe I'll just drop the steering column... :rolleyes:

Life should be easier than that. In an '88 Vette the 4 cluster bulbs can be accessed from the front.
Remove the screws from the bezel, remove the telescope handle, loosen the dash pad hold down screws along the front and slide out the bezel.
Then remove the silver caps covering the bulbs and remove the bulbs.
Use care in inseting the Halogen bulbs as you can't touch them with your fingers and the pins bend easily.
