Default Mechanical roller lifters/cam

Ok I've done some re-search on this stuff and have found the basics. LIke it's prime effect is to rid the engine of valve float? So what parts are different in a mech setup from the hyr. setup? I know cam and lifters, but what else?

springs, in some cases the lifter valley of the blcok needs to be modified, and oil restrictors. Other considerations with solid rollers are rocker studs and stud girdles.

ok lets clarify a couple of things you do not need no modifications to the block
ok do not use restricters unless you want to be replacing your roller lifters often
stuck studs are fine up to a point
stud girdles are not needed unless you are wanting to spin it past 7000rpm

So what are the basics needed? I have looked every where the cam sites and all. They just talk about the cam and lifters. So I know abotu those. What about push rods, and rocker arms. Does oil still get pumped up through the push rods to the rockers?
