I asking this question for another vette owner. if the wheels where installed going the opposite directions does it cause any problems? the fronts go counter clockwise and the rears go clockwise. or is this normal?
the tires are on right. i mean they are pointing in the right direction. i guess they just messed up when they mounted the. i wouldn't laugh if it was going to mess something up.
The wheel slots are supposed to help with brake cooling. I very much doubt that there will be that much of a signifcant difference in temps one direction or the other. Just  and enjoy the ride. :seeya

Yes and no.
Yes they help with brake cooling, on the '91-96 they pull air out away from the rotor, on '90 and earlier they draw air in.
Turbo Bob here on the forum acquired an '85 coupe last summer and his front wheels were on backwards. He actually encountered a heta problem with tehfront brakes. I toild him to swap the wheels and mount them correctly, he did and the heat problem disappeared.
I also spoke with Gordon Killebrew about this and he agrees 100%.
