And this cam http://store.summitracing.com/partde...2D08%2D302%2D8
I see that they make one that has a 114º LSA with a tad more lift...but for torque wouldn't I want the 112º LSA?
My goal would be to make around 375rwhp/500rwtq...
Re: Would this camshaft work well with this setup? (TIMSPEED)
That would not be a good cam for a Superrammed engine. With some port preparation you should be able to reach 375rwhp/375rwtq. A Superram cam looks more like 230/220 with 1.6/1.5, not 210/220 with 1.5/1.6. Look for hydraulic roller intake lobes with near 155deg duration at 0.200" tappet lift in order to get great torque and good power with the Superram.
Also you are down on compression ratio unless you plan on undercamming the engine for some reason. Mill the heads such that you would end up at about 10.8-11.0 CR with a future 383 shortblock rebuild.
Re: Would this camshaft work well with this setup? (TIMSPEED)
375 RWHP and 500RWTQ, not with your present setup and a 210'ish cam. You will need more compression and more cam, more head work in the neighborhood of 195 or 200cc and ported SR or a Mini-ram intake. What size is your ported TB? I would think a 52mm is needed for your power range you are looking for.
Re: Would this camshaft work well with this setup? (TIMSPEED)
The superram runs out of steam at ~5800 (unless heavily ported) and with your lower compression and smaller displacement anything with a duration above 224 could be counterproductive. Now that LPE has the 219 on sale that is the best bang for your buck with your combo, it is tried and true...I built very similar combo on a Z28 a year of two ago (355/super ram/219 cam/T5 manual) and put 369HP to the rollers.
