Window problem/removing 1990 door panel????
My POS CORVETTE is breaking on me again (HAVE I MENTIONED THAT I REGRET BUYING THIS CAR OF ALL OF MY PAST CARS!) I went out to try and fix my stereo problems today (ONE OF MANY WITH THIS POS!) I rolled down my drivers window and heard a noise and the window stopped going down. I can't hear the motor run/try to run when I push the window switch either way. I think it's off track because the window is angled outward a little. I've started taking the door panel off, I know about the three screws in the handle area of the door but I can't get the plastic off to get to the one behind the lock indicator. The one site I found had a 92 and up door panel which there was a screw behind the window switch but mine doesn't have that type of door panel. So is there one hiding somewhere I don't know about???
Any help please, I just want to get the thing secure so I can leave it alone for another 4 months so my blood presure doesn't skyrocket from working on it and it constantly breaking. :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad
TIA,
Ron
P.S. I'm thinking of parting the POS out or having someone torch it..... :D , just kidding about the torch.

"I'm the second owner of this beautiful car. This is one of the cleanest 1990 Vettes out there. I bought it from a coworker who babied this car like crazy. Garaged most of it's life. I've owned it for about 8 months now. I'm selling it because I bought a new house and need some cash for landscaping my new backyard." :D

Brimis: Thanks for the enlightenment, I feel educated and unsuccessful. Your post was of no help to me.
Mr Mojo: Thanks for the info, I'll try it when I relight my candle of success. :D
Interesting how I've only posted a couple of times in this forum and most of the time I end up being put down. One helpful post out of three isn't bad I guess.
