AlDL cable need help?
I am going to try and build an ALDL interface cable. But when it comes to computers it's all Mumbo Jumbo.
As of now I have 5 10k resistors, 2 mps3904 transistors, 30ft of Data/Audio cable, and a 9 position female D-Sub Connector.
Is there any other parts that are needed. I get back to you guys if I have any problems. :cheers:

I was going for something like the 160 Baud ALDL Hardware Interface version

Thats about it for a WinALDL cable. :thumbs:
I splurged the extra 2 bucks and got the parts for the moates cable also.
Now i have 2 scanners for the cost of 2 beers :D

One Question here how does the thick data cable fit into the small #5 spot on the serial connector (brown wire) :confused:
