LT4 Belt Length
i checked the archives and couldn't find the answer to this...
autozone and o'reilly both show the LT4 as having the same length belt as the LT1. i thought the LT4 belt was shorter (due to the smaller crank pulley).
i'd like to get one prior to removing my old one (so i won't have it to check in the store). anyone know if the lengths are indeed the same or not?

Michael , I have looked through my GM service manuals in search of an answer and all I can come up with are to "check the belt length on the drive belt scale on the drive belt tensioner for proper length". I always thought the belt was same as LT1......

I just replaced mine with a Gates K060670. Some places show a *665 or something like that, but it is too short. The *670 fits my GS just right.
