If your car runs over 160 (and I'm assuming it does), that means that it's about useless in the sense that the thermostat is open all the time (except for the few minutes when first fired up to get up to 160) Point is, I'd change thermostats to at least a 180.

Having the ECM programmed to come on at a lower temp is expensive and rewiring a manual switch is easy and cheap...(hmmmm, kinda like my, arggh, nevermind...lol)

Unless I was having the ECM programmed anyway, install a switch to turn it on... imo.

If all you want to do is turn the fans on sooner I'd go with the fan switch. The switch will be much cheaper than have a new chip burned :yesnod:

Reprogram chip thru CF about $250.... switch $50... but the chip can add some other bene's too.. for even a stock engine...

switch...$50.. I just spent $5.00 on a toggle switch and some wire. Easy money, and works like a charm. Only takes 10min.
