First bolt-ons for 91 vette?
The biggest bang for my buck (zero dollars) was advancing the timing to 10 deg from 4 (factory setting is 6) it was like night and day. Other things to do
1)Toss the frisbee (do a search)
2)Free flow exhaust
The L98 is limited in the intake department if you are looking to spend bucks thats the way to go with a intake/headers combo. I just played with gears and the cheap stuff and it is plenty fast. Good luck!!
-toss the "frisbee" from the front of your water pump pulley, 10chp
-K&N air filter with cut lid, 10chp
-160deg stat & fan switch, 10chp
-cut-back spark plug ground electrodes (details on my site, see sig.below), 8-10chp
-AFPR for tuning fuel flow at WOT, no chp gain per se, but a vital tuning aid if your doing futher mods.
Indeed your L98 will respong well to the addition of a free flowing exhaust, if your dad will tolerate the increased sound level:
-hi flow cat & cat back
-LT headers or mandrel-bent front Y
These should net you 15-25chp gain, depending on the path chosen.
