When having my mechanic put his Snap On engine scanner, what should I look for?
IAC counts
TPS voltages
O2 mV (indication of A/F ratio)
knock counts
timing retard from knock counts
real engine rpm vs. dash rpm
Timing and total timing
What else should I be looking for? Any advice would be more than welcome.
Well, I gotta replace my centerforce dual friction clutch, cuz it's slipping badly and only after 30 000 kilometers of no slick or drag radial track use.
Go figure.
But, I'm pretty sure the car isn't running up to it's potential. I mean, a super rammed 383 and only running a 13.2? Granted, traction is definitely an issue, but I should be better than that.
Just curious as to what's going on in the computer end of things...the good, the bad and the ugly to coin a phrase.
