random hard starts
My car seems to have a hard time starting when I let it sit for a couple of hours. It doesnt happen all the time just when the car has fully heated up. The engine has been totally rebuilt and the starter is new. I noticed one of the fuel lines is touching the right header and when I went to check the fuel pressure the fuel was too hot to touch by hand. Id say it happens once in 10 starts. Are there any sensors that I should check or wires that might be grounding out. I have no codes and when the car is cool it tends to start up very quickly. I put on the superram system, had the ninth injector plugged and I had the chip reprogrammed by Ed Wright. I

Get that fuel line off the header! That is very dangerous and can start a gasoline fire. That is probably why you are having hard starts when hot, you have fuel vapor in the fuel lines (due to the fuel being at high temperature) and this prevents the proper fuel pressure (this is called vapor lock).
