TB BYPASS
Guys I just did a TB bypass, it took me all of 10 minutes. I went and bought a 5/8" heater hose today and some 5/8" plugs for the TB, The only thing is I couldnt put the hose all the way on the firewall I would have had to remove the entire side of everything on the passenger side, so what I did was is cut the hose nad put a tube between the two hoses and clamped it down. It did it so you cant even see where I did it. It was very easy to do.....
What can I expect to see from this MOD, if anything,,, I figured heck everyone else is doing there must be a reason..... Right!!!!!!!!!
She is running a little rough at idle still though,,, I changed the EGR valve this weekend..... Any ideas? what else.... There is no codes at all..
Also while I was changing the EGR valve I discovered that my PLENUM and runners have been ported,,,, I was pleased to see this!!!!!!!

Congrats on that mod; a few people have recported small gains from it but at least it cleans up the TB and lets it cool off quicker.
You might check spark plug & wire condition and maybe the inside of the dist cap for carbon tracks.
Also, clean the TB.
