Default Win ADL and Mastach cable

Have notebook setup with WinADL and installed test program for ODB1 ECM Diag cable from Mastach. Ran cable test and pc and cable tested out and passed. 1987 TIP, so heres the question:

Cable comes with 4 pinouts (Red - pin M(9) 8192 data (+), Blue pin E (160bps Data (+), Black pin A (5) -Ground and White pin B (ALDL 10kOhn Mode - opt for TIP w/MAF,

Do i need to install all pins in ALDL for correct data transmit...? It shows on the instructions that all (4) pins get connected for ALDL 12pin connections..

Is this correct... thanks

Default Re: Win ADL and Mastach cable (vinnies87)

Sorry don't know about that cable. I would think that only the 160 baud would be the only one going into data terminal. Where is your 12 volt supply comming from ? For ten bucks i built a cable for WinALDL and one for Moates software. Have you had a look at the WinALDL site to see if their diagram sheds a little light on figuring out the Mastach cable.
Do you have any schematics for the mastach cable ?
