Good temp range for auto tranny???
What does your transmission usually operate at? This can be sean by the "auto *F" on the digital display right? Anyway, sometimes mine gets as high as 220, is this bad? I probably average around 195-205

The manual states that the normal operating range should be between 180 to 200 degrees. I see 225 going up hills at slow speed on my 95. I am a little less worried because i am using 15 quarts of Mobil 1 synthetic ATF and it will not break down at those temperatures. I will be putting in a tranny cooler soon as I figure where to mount it. I always use synthetic ATF and never had to rebuild any transmission yet.
