resetting the TPS - LT1 Engine
I got my helms 1993 Corvette Factory Service Manual last night and it specifies the Tech 1 is needed to reset the TPS!! How do you go about resetting it if you don't have the Tech 1 Scan tool? Is there another procedure in the service manual I misseD?

Do you mean IAC? I've never heard of a reset procedure for the TPS. It's typically installed in a static position, however, it is adjustable but I wouldn't do unless you know what you're doing.

Yes, I recall reading this also. I believe that earlier TPS's were adjustable. With the LT1 engine you have to use the tech 1 to get the ecm and TPS in sync.

The Tech 1A has a volt meter feature. Does the manual specify what feature or menu is being used. The menu's can take you to the PCM reading the TPS as voltage or may be expressed in % throttle opening.
Of course the Tech 1A can check the idle counts.
Pretty sure the LT's TPS is not slotted, just bolt it on, PCM does the zero calibration, and off we go. Don't have the LT manual.
