I've got rollers on my LT1 and they make a little noise. Tiny bit of metallic clatter is about how I'd describe it. I readjusted them just to make sure and the noise was the same, so I think you've got nothing to worry about.
Yep, they clatter. You could readjust them again if you think they loosened up on you. If they are very noisy and don't want to shut up then it could be that you got the non-self aligning ones. If so then they are just going to be noisy!
Never heard of anyone changing oil weight to silence them. Not sure how much if any that would even help.
You guys can HEAR rockers over your exhaust?
Get the Flowmasters and you won't hear them.
Won't hear your radio either.
I have headers, no cats, comp cam pro magnum RR's and flowmasters. You can still hear them a little. Now if the mufflers exited into the engine compartment sure you wouldn't hear them.

What, those wimpy silent-service mufflers? ;) I do have Dymomax Ultra Flow SS's which resonate so much I can hardly see straight and I can still hear the rockers at idle
To be honest, I must admit that when I installed my Crane 1.6 RR's I thought there was a major problem and I re-opened the rocker covers to readjust them. I was sure there was one that was totally lose. Well, I was wrong and later I learned that the nice "rattatatatata!" -sound was normal. Now I kind of like it. And my friends are impressed too... :D
Mobil 1 markets different oils in Europe than in USA. The ones we mostly use here are made in Europe too (also the USA made Mobil 1 oils are available but nobody uses them in high perf cars). The one considered best is called "Mobil 1 Rally Formula" (hence RF) and the best grade available for sports cars is the 5W-50 which works very well even when very hot.
