I want to put a set of roller rockers on my 1990 vette. I want to do a 1.6 intake, 1.5 exhaust setup. I have bought a full set of crane gold race narrow body self aligning roller rockers. Part #10751-16. Anybody wanna buy a set of 1.6 of the same make and ill send you 8 of mine and you send me 8 of yours?
Stop...don't split em...that rough idle thing was only an issue with the iron heads. So, just put the 1.6:1s on both int & exh.
I have 1.6:1 ProMagnums on int/exh and idle is even smoother than with stock rockers.
I bought a set of 1.6s & 1.54s, intending to split em, but then decided to just try the 1.6s on both. Now I'm waiting till I do the ZZ-9 cam and will switch to the new 1.54s and try to sell the 1.6s.

My experience was just the opposite.
I installed a new camshaft and with 1.6 Pro Magnums on both the intake and exhaust, the idle was unacceptable to me.
So I found a guy on this forum who was looking for 8 - 1.6s and we swapped. He sent me 8 - 1.52s and I sent him 8 - 1.6s. My idle improved very noticably and I'm really happy with the trade.
Guess it depends on the engine combo and your personal taste.
