Heat shields (exhaust)
The OEM exhaust on the LT1 has heat shielding on the driver's side exhaust pipe coming out of the cat and extending back past the tranny. The catback systems I've seen so far, don't have that shielding. I wonder why? :confused: Some engineer/designer went to a lot of trouble to design it, you think there was a problem that required a shield?
