vacuum leaks
Guys is there a easy way to check to see if I have a vacuum leak? I have a gas odor when I stop..... Meaning running rich,, right????? I have visually checked the vacuum lines, I dont see them broken or cracked at all. Any ideas

For a fuel odor check carefully around your fuel lines, rail, etc.
You can get a vacuum gauge at Sears or AutoZone along with some T's to check manifold vacuum at idle. These gauges come with full instructions.
If the odor is comming from the tank filler due to excessive pressure buildup, I suspect a problem with the purge canister controls.
