Need help by tomorrow.... Please Timing issue...

58 mm Throttle body
355 block (bored .030", stock compression on pistons)
30 lb injectors
.586 lift exhaust
.248 @.050" duration
1.6 rollers
heads ported and polished
160 thermostat
2800 converter
3.54 gears
shorty headers
k&N filter w/ opened front case
I left the stock timing in the ECM but was thinking about having it advanced. Any suggestions?
Just out of curiousity, anyone have probably HP ideas? I was going to have it dynoed today until I realized that I had to send the computer back again since the gear change in the ECM didn't work.
Thanks,
Mark
I'd leave well enough alone. If you feel you have to add something, have them add 3-5* below 3000 rpm in the 75kPa regions and up. You should pick up just a little low end torque. Just remember, depending on what they've already done, adding any more could end up being too much.
By doing this blind (no datalogging), add timing at your own risk!

Thanks for your input. Though each engine will require something different, I didn't know if there was some "rule of thumb" that LT1's run better with advanced timing.
Rather than guess, I'll just leave it alone. If no one knows for sure, don't want to do anything that will be detrimental in way of performance/durability.
Thanks,
Mark
