Default LT-1 injector questions

I just purchased a 94 that has a leaking injector. the engine is stock. Would the SVO #19 injectors work as a direct replacement for the stock injectors without any tuning? I just picked it up last night and have not checked the fuel pressure yet. I've had an 86 for the last 4 years and know nothing about the LT-1 tuning yet. So I'm just starting. Any suggestions on a scan tool? I used to use a diacom but it is no longer available.

Stock injectors on a 94 LT1 are 24 lb, don't think 19's would work without tuning. Also, I am using Datamaster for scanning/data logging, and I'm very satisfied with the software.

sorry, I meant 21's not 19's. I had read a thread here in the tune and scan archive that recommended the 21 lb so that's what I ordered last week. I will not be racing, so will the 21's be sufficient? I also read that the fords were rated different, so is it comparable that the ford 21's equal the chevy 24's?

I didn't know Ford SVO made 21lb injectors. But, yes I think the ford 21's should be OK. They may even help an already rich stock tune run a little bit leaner.

"tjwong" is my tuning guru. Why don't you send Tom an IM, and he can tell you for sure if the SVO 21's will be alright.

I'm having problems passing emissions right now. The drivers side O2 sensor is reading rich. I'm guessing it is a leaking injector.

Received and installed the 21 lb injectors last night. It runs okay, jumped right up to 120 with no problems. Since I just purchased it I have no history to tell if the performance is less. I'm taking it to see if it passes emissions today. Will advise results.

still fails. NOX both idle and at speed. I'm guessing that a cat conv. is probably the cure. No check engine light so, I'm assuming no codes.

Pulled the cats off, they have been gutted. Ordered random tech bolt ons.

I have ford 21lb injectors in my 92 LT1 and the duty cycle is @ 75% which is more than enough on this engine.
