In my 93 as im trying to remove the converter cover i am stuck. Service manual says to remove starter then the bolts and the cover should come off.
So now the cover wont come off because the transmission cooler lines under the cover.
Im looking for a leak and i saw fluid coming from the hole in the cover. Now as i look under the cover as best as i can it looks dry inside. If i had a leak on the front seal would there be fluid on the converter?
It could have come from your lines and blown back onto the cover. It could also easily be the trans seal, its a real easy fix once you pull out the tranny, I would find out for sure before doing this, you can get dye to put in the tranny fluid and then look under the car with a black light to find the leak.
