C4 Winter projects
The other night while reading the forum someone had a post of what seemed to be all the things that happen to the C4 by milage. My 94 coupe is at 73600 and seems to be all stock. I was going to replace the water pump, Blistines, and rear wheel hubs (those bad boys have a good 1/8' top to bottom slop), which explains the grinding noise in the rear the end of last summer.
I have been looking into stiffing the frame to eliminate the Flexible Flyer with the top off experience and it seems everyone has a different idea for the fix. Does anyone have the definitive solution to the handling issue? I am considering the cross frame brace only because I want to keep the stock look and don't particularly like the idea of removing the roof and then installing the Roof Truss bar. Seems like to much work . Thoughts?
Also is there a spread sheet of things to do by milage to a 94? (MUST DO, SHOULD DO, WOULD BE NICE TO DO, ETC). Experience helps here way more than the owners manual.
Any help appreciated.
