engine whistle after rebuild
got my car back after a complete rebuild and hotcam install from LG motors. That night (last night) I developed a whistle when I rev. Starts ~2k and gets higher as I rev higher. At first I thought a siren was coming in the distance, but it would go away at idle. I will have LG look at it today, but I was wondering if anyone else has heard such a thing!

I thought I saw a black C4 sitting up at Lou's. I live about a mile from his shop. As for the whistle, I would suspect maybe a vacuum leak like the throttle body is not tight or something similar.

I took it back to Lou's this morning and the whistle was more of a whine. Turned out to be a bearing in the alternator pulley. They fixed it on the spot and I am good to go! :thumbs:
Vette92, there is another black C4 outside right now, but its not mine. I was earlier. I work at Cisco down the street off of G Bush Toll, so its a quick trip.
BTW they are putting in a small block 427 in a Z06! Would love to have THAT budget! :D
