I'm not sure about HP gains but the sound is awesome. It is relatively loud but not too bad and the sound in the cabin is pretty quiet at low RPMs. It sounds like a screaming banshee at WOT tho.

I put the Flowmaster Force II catback system on my 90 convertible and it sounds great. Good rumble at idle and it screams at WOT. I don't know how much horsepower it add, but is is a noticable difference especially with a cut air cleaner lid.

Here is a dyno graph of a Flowmaster Force II cat-back added to my 91 ZR-1. I already had headers on the car at the time of installation.

As you can see at peak power I gained 12rwhp and 9rwtq. The overall gains throughout the powerband were pretty good. With even more power gained in the upper RPM band. Without the headers I think the gains would have been slighty lower.

I'm using the Flowmaster Mufflers, along with the Random tech CAT. On my '84.
Just fantastic, sound and performance.
Glad I made the leap, to the best. Just paid off in spades.

I have had this cat-back on my car for almost 2 years now. I have long tube headers and a ramdom tech. cat. Sounds good at WOT and fairly loud driving arround. Pretty quiet at cruise. Tips are easy to keep clean. The mufflers are quite heavy though. The best price I was able to find them was at http://www.summitracing.com :D
