'87 v '89 ECM
Because I have one , is there any advantage in using the ECM from a '89 man in my '87 man vette?
If no advantage , is there any reason I can't use it ,say as a spare?
Are the hook up plugs the same?

Scorp is correct...1227165. Same ECM. The only difference is the code used on the proms. Keep it as a sapre, it will plug right in, just make sure you swap over your prom
