That is the one. The space is just so tight around it. I had to use a long extension to knock it out. I am a big guy and my hands do not fit up where the plug goes in. Wonder if there is some GM tool ($$$$) that does the job <G>.
If you're not gaining access this way already, I recommend that you remove both tail light assemblies from the left side. Take out the lisence plate & backup lamp for access to the inner, them use that hole to remove the outer. The grommet will be easily accessible. The bolts that hold the antenna mounting bracket are pretty accessible also.
I lubricated the grommet with a little vaseline and it slipped right in. With the tail lamp out you can push and twist the grommet from the outside, while gently pulling the wires from the inside.
OK everyone, here is the trick! Hold the rubber plug under running hot water (hot as you can). When it is really warm and soft, spray a little (very little) WD-40 on it. The plug will go right in.

Read where it says to remove the rear wheel, then the splash guard to make removal and install easier.... did you have to do that?
Have a new one, but haven't replaced yet...

Removing the wheel and the wheel well doesn't help in reinstalling the grommet, there's absolutely no leverage. You need hands like Superman to get the grommet back in.
