after a long day at work at a job i hate had me stretched to the braking point today, i knew i had to take Sweet Sin for a Ride :) i started her up at about 10 pm, turned on the rear defroster and let her warm up to 145 degrees. gave her a few revs and realized how crisp the throttle response was. we took off down the main cruise spot and realized nothing was out. :( turned around and started my venture home. i knew i had to crack into her and feel the pull of Sweet Sin. :D got down to a secluded part of hwy and made a U-turn about a good 1/4 mile from my turn off and i turned around. Radar was clear the whole time. quick look around, looks clear. from a roll at about 5 mph in 1st gear she flashed the converter to 1600 rpm and just put the tires up in a blaze all the way thru 1st till she caught some pavement, then hit 2nd at 5300 rpm and broke loose again for a good 2-3 seconds before she grabbed some pavement. :D

ahhh gotta love cool brisk late autumn nights :) i can't wait to put a fresh set of cutback ac/delco's i did today in her and the TPiS longtubes headers i got sitting in the basement on her :D i think she'll have a good chance of hitting that elusive 12 second pass with a stock TPI, stock internals, stock tranny, stock stall, and stock 2.59 rear gears if i have some good air like it was tonight :D

Yep, gotta love those late fall & early spring nights when that TPI realy comes alive.

My L98 dips from 2.0s 60's well into the 1.9s and even low 1.8s on an excellent evening. :cool:
