there has been a lot of topics on this and one of the main items mentioned is the spare tire.
I understand that there was an option for a spare tire delete?
And with this option the car had a brace where the spare was?
Does anyone know if this brace can be bought, or where?

Though Contemporary Corvette doesn't list a new one in their catalog, they also vend used parts from a large Vette bone yard. You might give them a try, link on my site (see sig. below).
