Default Stripped intake holes help?

Put my Mini ram on today and as I tightened the 4 center bolts they all stripped the head. will the mini ram fit both early and later head bolt patterns? I think this is what caused the problem. I had a Accel base on there before this and never had problems, but I think it's made for both?

later versions of the miniram have slotted holes to fit different style head setups. perhaps you have an older version of the miniram......... If so then all you'll have to do is get them slotted for clearance.
If you really did a strip job on the threaded holes you may need to put helicoil inserts in there.

I agree with the helicoils. Those things are the one of the greatest inventions of mankind. And on an aside note, especially when dealing with aluminum, always remember to use a bolt that is the full length of the hole before torquing. In other words, if the hole is 3/4" deep, one should make sure the bolt is very, very close to being 3'4" long when tightened down. Sometimes I use a piece of wire to measure down into the hole when dealing with bolts of differing length on a piece.
