Engine Math
HP=.2575 x CFM(@ 28" of H2O) x number of cylinders
Does anyone know if this is an accurate way to calculate HP?
Also this is for a 350, does anyone know how you could calculate for a 383, 396, 409?
(I got the formula off the back of the AFR catalog.)
If only it were that simple.
If you change everything else in the engine to where it will support the head flow, then there might be some truth in the formula...up to a point.
